NorthStar Anesthesia Announces Partnership with Multi-Specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center in Kansas

March 4, 2026

NorthStar Anesthesia today announced a new partnership with a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center located in Overland Park, Kansas. NorthStar will provide anesthesia services designed to improve coverage reliability, staffing flexibility, and operating room performance.

Through its clinician-led approach and scalable care team model, NorthStar will bring staffing stability and transparent, sustainable cost structures that enable the surgery center to maintain reliable coverage while supporting long-term operational efficiency and control. A key component of the partnership is built-in flexibility within the coverage model, including provisions that allow the center to scale anesthesia staffing during periods of increased volume or seasonal demand, supporting both efficiency and financial stewardship.

“This partnership allows us to solve for coverage consistency while maintaining the flexibility required in a dynamic ambulatory environment,” said the center’s lead administrator. “NorthStar worked with us to design a model that supports our surgeons, staff, and patients while giving us the ability to flex resources as demand changes.”

“This center represents exactly the type of partner our care team model is designed to support,” said Cindy Myers, Vice President, Ambulatory Surgery Operations at NorthStar Anesthesia. “By combining a stable base coverage structure with the ability to flex staffing when needed, we’re helping the center manage growth, control costs, and maintain high standards of care and operating room performance.”

The partnership reflects NorthStar’s continued focus on supporting ambulatory surgery centers with tailored anesthesia solutions that balance clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
