NorthStar Anesthesia, an industry leader in anesthesia care, and Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center, a nationally-recognized acute care hospital, recently celebrated six months of partnership and a successful anesthesia services transition.
A defining feature of the partnership between NorthStar and Maryview is the fact that 100% of the medical center’s existing anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists were retained. This means that the same providers—who are already well-known throughout the community—will continue to serve Maryview patients.

In recent years, the medical center has seen significant increases in patient volumes and demand for surgical services. As such, Maryview was looking to engage an anesthesiology partner with proven success in improving operational efficiency without compromising patient care, which is why it ultimately partnered with NorthStar.
